This post is a bit of business casual style inspo! Not that I'm an expert by any means. But I do have some favorite pieces that mix & match consistently for work day looks that I'd like to share! I'm the BIGGEST fan of leggings but sometimes ya gotta dress it up a bit! Especially Monday through Friday 9-5. Here are 5 outfit ideas using 6 key pieces!
My fave 6 key pieces - BLAZER + PANTS + SKIRT + BLACK BLOUSE + WHITE BLOUSE + HEELS
#1 - BLAZER + SKIRT
Blazer - Theory + Skirt - Nordstrom Rack + Heels - BCBG
This is my favorite + easy look!! A pretty black skirt with a classic blazer on top is the BEST. Especially a blazer with roll up sleeves. A solid blazer is an investment piece because it is so versatile & goes with everything! I wear mine with work clothes & LBD's on Friday nights out. Add a red lip & BAM!
#2 - BLACK BLOUSE + SKIRT
Black on black on black is never a bad idea! Black top + black skirt + black heels. You really can't go wrong with this! It's like Batman inspiration. Jk. Pair a simple black blouse with a pretty black skirt & heels.

#3 - WHITE BLOUSE + PANTS
Add some color! And by color I mean white. LOL. Another fave of mine!! Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to color...it's just not my go-to. I'm a fan of white + black + neutral colors when it comes to work. These pants are my FREAKIN FAVORITE. I wear them all the time. Literally just wore them for St Pattys Day. Which shows they can be for any occasion! Even drinking green beer. They are definitely my go-to work day pants any day of the week!!

#4 - BLAZER + WHITE BLOUSE + PANTS
Add a blazer + top knot to change it up completely. Us ladies are lucky because we can throw on a different hair-do & a jacket & create a whole new look! I'm a fan. It's a simple way to layer & mix & match these 6 pieces.

So I'll admit I got this blazer from Express YEARS AGO. Which clearly is out of style but I still freakin love it!!! Sorry bout it! This Express blazer is the perfect addition to a black blouse + black pants. Dresses it up a bit! There are so many cute & unique blazers out there right now & any one of them would be a great addition to black pants + black blouse. I've linked a cute Express floral blazer that I'm dyinggg over.
#6 - HEELS
You absolutely HAVE TO have a good pair of work heels!!
Heels - BCBG + Pants - Aritzia
These BCBG heels are my absolute favorite!! LIKE EVER. They are a classic black pointy-toe heel that go with everything. AND they are comfy!!! With that being said, I don't recommend wearing them 5 days straight. Which is what I did. And they left my feet bleeding. As all of you ladies know, that comes with the territory!! Cute heels + blisters. HOWEVER, these are the comfiest I have found!! No one should have to wear heels 5 days in a row but sometimes work is work! Haha.
